Delaney is serving her second year on the board of Har Shalom and first year as Hadassah Four Corners Chapter President. She and her husband, Robert, are both third-generation Durango Natives, but they left home after their marriage when Rob joined the U.S. Navy in 2001. After 10 years serving in the military and living on the East Coast, they returned to the Southwest to Los Alamos, NM, where he worked as a field engineer at Los Alamos National Laboratory for 7 years. In 2017 they happily settled back in Durango to be close to their 4 children’s grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Delaney attended Trident Community College and University of New Mexico. She is the owner of Rieke Consulting where she services Aspen Roof Repair and Heart Safe La Plata as a bookkeeper and program coordinator. She has served on the boards of the Los Alamos Jewish Center and Temple Beth Shalom in Santa Fe and served as chapter president for Hadassah Los Alamos. She was honored to be invited to participate in the Hadassah Leadership Fellows program where she received intense leadership and advocacy training.
