A Note From Lisa Smith
It is with great honor that I accept this position to serve you. I have had the privilege of working next to Rabbi Baskin for the past 10 years and have been part of the congregation for the past 20 years. During that time, I have experienced many aspects of congregational leadership. I hope to be an asset to the congregation, to be able to assist you with your spiritual and ritual needs. Although I am not a Rabbi, I do have a strong, lifelong background as a Jew and I do have experience with all manner of life's joys and challenges. I will be here for you, to listen to you, to be with you, to assist you however I can, to the best of my ability, whether your situation is happy or sad or just plain confusing.

I love Judaism and I love being part of Congregation Har Shalom and I want to help all of you enjoy Judaism, too. I hope to provide an opportunity for our congregation to enhance and deepen our relationship with each other, with our heritage and our connection to Adonai.
